Update, Dec. 14, 2025 / Watch and listen to a beautiful rendition of a seasonal favorite. Thanks to all the dedicated members of the NMB with a history that dates back to 1859.
Original Post, Dec. 9, 2024 / The Naperville Municipal Band is set to wrap up its 2024 performance season beginning at 7:30PM on Fri., Dec. 13, with “Home for the Holidays.” The holiday concert returns to take the stage at Wentz Concert Hall on the campus of North Central College. Admission is free of charge.
The annual concert will be conducted by Naperville Municipal Band Conductor/Music Director Emily Binder as well as Associate Conductor William Jastrow.
Steve Lord again will serve as emcee with historical tributes to selected holiday songs and Christmas carols.
As always, this time of year promises seasonal surprises. Yet, it’ll be no surprise when the always-popular sing-a-long again welcomes audience participation, prepared to capture the spirit of the Christmas holidays with something for everybody—all ages.
Concert attendees are asked to arrive in advance of the 7:30PM start and take a seat in the concert hall for a memorable hour of traditional holiday favorites and a march to Auld Lang Syne.
Thanks to the City of Naperville SECA Fund, the concert is free of admission charge and open to the public.
The Wentz Concert Hall is located in the North Central College Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Avenue, just steps from downtown Naperville.
Consider dinner in downtown Naperville before or after the show!
