Naperville Park District’s Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend Hours of Operation

On Thanksgiving morning, from 6AM to noon the Fort Hill Activity Center, 20 Fort Hill Drive, will be open. Otherwise, all Naperville Park District facilities are closed Thanksgiving Day, reopening on Nov. 29. (PN File Photo)

The Naperville Park District announces its hours of operation for the following facilities for Thanksgiving Weekend, Thurs., Nov. 28 through Sun., Dec. 1, 2024.

Fort Hill Activity Center (20 Fort Hill Drive)

                OPEN:                   November 28 (6AM -12PM, Noon.)

                OPEN:                   November 29-December 1 (Regular Hours)

Closed Thanksgiving Day, Springbrook Golf Course is open regular Nov. 29 and Dec. 1. (PN File Photo)

Springbrook and Naperbrook Golf Courses (2220 83rd Street and 22204 W. 111th Street / Hassert Boulevard.)

                CLOSED:               November 28

                OPEN:                   November 29-December 1 (Regular Hours)

Sportsman’s Park Trapshooting Range (735 S. West Street)

                CLOSED:               November 28

                OPEN:                   November 29-December 1 (Regular Hours)

Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center (305 W. Jackson Avenue)

                CLOSED:               November 28

                OPEN:                   November 29-December 1 (for scheduled programs)

Knoch Knolls Nature Center (320 Knoch Knolls Road)

                CLOSED:               November 28-29

                OPEN:                   November 30 (Regular Hours)

                CLOSED:               December 1

Created in 1966, the Naperville Park District is an independent, municipal agency serving the recreation needs of its residents. An Illinois Distinguished Agency since 1994, the District is one of only 1% of park districts across the country to be nationally accredited through the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA). Included within the District’s operations are two championship golf courses, a multitude of playgrounds, trails, athletic courts and sports fields, Fort Hill Activity Center, Knoch Knolls Nature Center, two inline skating and skateboarding facilities, the Millennium Carillon, a paddle boat quarry, historic Centennial Beach, and the beautiful Riverwalk.
