Naperville Fine Art Center & Gallery hosts ‘Elements of Innovation’ now thru Oct. 12

Naperville Fine Art Center & Gallery is located at 508 N. Center Street and Fifth Avenue.

The Fiber Art Divas group presents its annual “Elements of Innovation” art show now through Oct. 12, 2024, at the Naperville Fine Art Center & Gallery, 508 N. Center Street. The annual show draws visitors from the Chicagoland area and neighboring states.

Hours are 10AM to 5PM Tuesday through Friday, and 10AM to 4PM on Saturday. The show is free and open to the public.

On display are more than 35 original pieces including art quilts, wearable art, felted wool creations, beadwork, embroidery, weaving, AI design, and more. Some items are available for sale. The members also had a challenge under the theme “Time.” 

A guest display of work by members of the Professional Art Quilt Alliance (PAQA) will be part of the event. 

Artist Reception is 2-4PM Sun., Sept. 29

The show reception will be 2 to 4PM on Sun., Sept. 29. Techniques used by some of the artists will be demonstrated in the classroom. Refreshments will be served.  

Fiber Art Divas group meets once a month, January thru November

The Fiber Art Divas group meets at 7PM on the fourth Monday of each month, except December, at Naperville Art League’s Naperville Fine Art Center & Gallery. Meetings are open to anyone interested in fiber art.

Naperville Art League, a 501c3 nonprofit, has been active in the community for more than 60 years. Monthly gallery shows and ongoing art classes are among its activities.
