Oktoberfest returns to Naper Settlement

-

Soon it’ll be time for lederhosen, drindels, traditional German cuisine and beer during Octoberfest, 5-10PM Fri., Oct. 4 and 3-10PM Sat., Oct. 5. Fun for all will be overflowing in the beautifully decorated and heated tent, with lively Oompah music, modern polka, pop, R&B, and yacht rock. Enjoy one of the largest Oktoberfest beer varieties in the area and German food from local restaurants and food trucks.

A professional pumpkin carver as well as a children’s area with activities for the entire family is sure to attract festival goers from 3-7PM Saturday. Also on Saturday at 5PM, folks can test their strength at the annual stein holding contest.

Whether you’re savoring a stein of authentic German beer, indulging in hearty Oktoberfest fare, or dancing to live polka music, there’s something for everyone at this event.
