A Night at the Movies presents “Minions: The rise of Gru / 8:30PM / Naperville Park District will host the first “A Night at the Movies,” a series of five free, family-friendly Friday evening movies hosted outdoors. The first movie will be shown at Rotary Hill, located at 443 Aurora Ave. Everyone is welcome to bring their own folding chairs, blankets & snacks.
Adopt a Veterans Grave Initiative on CBS 2 News Chicago / 10PM on CBS 2 News Chicago TV / VFW Post 3873 Commander and American Legion Member Staci Boyer will be featured on CBS News tonight talking about the “Adopt a Veterans Grave” initiative. Boyer is an active member in both posts and the project was born out of an emotional experience during the posts’ annual Memorial Day flag placement at Veteran’s Graves in Naperville.

Note the schedule for the 2024 Naperville Municipal Band Summer Concert Series at 7:30PM Thursdays in Central Park, now through August 15, is available on page 4 of the July publication and also at www.napervilleband.org. All NMB concerts are free of charge. Plan a family picnic with friends and neighbors. Order take-out from a downtown eatery. Concerts run between 60 and 90 minutes. Park benches await.
