Updated Post, Aug. 7, 2024 / Beginning at 4:30PM Aug. 6, Naperville Mayor Scott Wehrli and Police Chief Jason Arres again joined forces to visit National Night Out festivities where families gathered in the spirit of creating a safe community at more than 40 different locations throughout the City. The mayor, police chief and lots of kids having “fun in foam” are pictured at May Watts Elementary School where West Wind Estates, Buttonwood, Countryside and Windgate subdivisions again teamed up to host a National Night Out together. While safe rescue was among the topics, families discovered that kids can easily walk, dance and play “snowy creatures” inside the foam shot from a cannon without much fear of slipping.
