Adult Float at Centennial Beach is a little secret among a few, according to Cynthia Suzanne Cockriel. There is a loyal following of otherwise respectable citizens who “boo” when the lifeguard announces, “Adult Float is now over!”
Adult Float shapes feature lobsters, flamingos, and diamond rings, noted Cockriel. “Upon meeting a dragon float, I asked if its personality matched that of the float,” quipped Cockriel. “The person beside the dragon/floater quietly nodded, ‘Yes!'”
