CityGate Grille, the Naperville USDA Prime steakhouse and event space, will host a Belle Glos wine dinner, 6PM to 8:30PM on Wed., April 10. The event will showcase distinctive wines produced along California’s coast and the nuance among them sparked by the climate differences throughout the coast.

The 5-course dinner at CityGate Grille will explore five distinctive varietals—four distinct pinot noirs and a chardonnay—each from a different Belle Glos vineyard. While each vineyard lies near the Pacific Ocean, climate differences—such as the amount of fog, wind, sunlight and soil—create distinctions among the wines which are paired with culinary creations by CityGate Grille Executive Chef Luis Talavera and his team.

Belle Glos is owned by fifth-generation winemaker Joe Wagner. The Wagner family winemaking legacy in California dates to 1915 and, in addition to Joe’s Belle Glos, is behind such labels as Caymus, Mer Soleil and Emmolo.

CityGate Grille is located at 2020 Calamos Court in Naperville.

Visit CityGateGrille.com/event to view the 5-course menu with pairings and secure a reservation for the $140 per person dinner.
