The City of Naperville’s annual Arbor Day Tree Sale will take place online for a four-week period beginning March 18. The sale link will open at 8AM on Mon., March 18, and will close at 5PM on Wed., April 17, or when all trees are sold, whichever comes first.

A drive-thru tree pickup will take place from 8AM to 1PM on Saturday, April 20, at the Public Works Service Center, 180 Fort Hill Dr.

Customers will be able to select from 31 different species of trees costing between $45 and $105 for use in beautifying their yards and sustaining the environment. A total of 400 trees are available for purchase, including various maples, oaks and elms.

How to Place a Tree Order

All orders must be placed online at www.naperville.il.us/arbordaytreesaleResidents can review tree details on the sale page and may purchase multiple trees, which are organized by price, through PayPal in one transaction. Once an online order is complete, shoppers will be directed to use an online calendar to schedule a time to pick up their tree(s) on Saturday, April 20, at the Public Works Service Center. Customers will be limited to six trees and pickup timeslots must be scheduled within 24-hours of purchase to avoid cancelation. For the safety of all, participants will be asked to stay in their vehicles while City staff members load the trees into vehicles during their pre-scheduled pickup timeslot.

All tree sales are final, and trees must be picked up on April 20. Payment will be forfeited for trees that are not picked up on April 20 and no refunds will be given.

Rain Barrel Pickup Event

The City, in partnership with the Conservation Foundation and Upcycle Products, continues to promote using rain barrels as a free irrigation option.

Back again this year, rain barrel purchases received by mail-in form by April 12 or online before April 15 may be picked up during the tree sale drive-thru from 8AM to 1PM on Saturday, April 20 at the Public Works Service Center.

Please bring the order receipt when picking up the rain barrel. A portion of rain barrel sales will be donated to the Conservation Foundation. Rain barrel orders must be placed at https://upcycle-products.com/il-programs/nprv/.
