March events at Naper Settlement

Naper Settlement presents the following events and programs during March 2024. The museum is open Tuesday-Friday from 10AM-4PM with general museum admission $6 for adults (13+), $5 for seniors (62+), and $4 for youth (4-12). Naperville residents with proof of residency, children under 4, and members receive complimentary admission. Your Friendly Neighborhood Historian: What Even is Agriculture? And Other Questions from Our Food

Thursday, March 14 • 7-8PM

$10/person | Register

Humans invented agriculture and transformed the world—and themselves. During this program, you will explore the past, present, and future of agriculture as well as the humans who make it possible. Attendees can receive 1.0 CPDU credit.

Teacher Tuesdays: What Even is Agriculture? And Other Questions from Our Food (Virtual)

Tuesday, March 19 • 4-5PM

$10/teacher | Register

Transform your Tuesdays into an engaging historical discussion and leave with 1.0 CPDU credit. Test your knowledge of Illinois’ agricultural history and learn fun, engaging activities around agriculture to bring to your classroom. Teacher Tuesdays is a virtual professional development program for teachers. Pre-registration is required.

Weed Ladies Spring Preview Sale

Thursday and Friday, March 21-22 • 10AM-2PM

Free to attend the Spring Preview Sale

The Weed Ladies Spring Preview Sale features creative seasonal floral arrangements for sale. Each one-of-a-kind silk or dried floral creation has been designed by the Weed Ladies of the Naperville Heritage Society volunteer group. Proceeds benefit the Naperville Heritage Society. Admission to the Weed Ladies Spring Preview Sale is free. Please enter Naper Settlement’s main entrance and inform the Guest Services Team that you are attending the Spring Preview Sale.

Education Volunteer Informational Meeting (Virtual)

Thursday, March 21 • 6-7PM

Children, teens, and adults of all ages can share the story of Naperville as an Education Volunteer at Naper Settlement. During this Education Volunteer Informational Meeting on Zoom, you will learn more about becoming a History Squad, History Connector, or Building Interpreter volunteer. To sign up, please email NSteenadult@naperville.il.us with the subject line of “Volunteer Informational.”

Game by Beer: One Night Werewolf (Craft by Beer Series)

Thursday, March 28 • 7-9PM

$20/adult (21+) | Register

Embark on an evening of strategy, deception, and laughter featuring the thrilling game, “One Night Werewolf.” Sip on your favorite adult beverage as you immerse yourself in the world of secret identities and clever tactics. Join fellow enthusiasts and let the games and drinks flow in this unforgettable adult gaming experience! You must be at least 21 years of age to participate in this program. A valid ID is required at event entry. Pre-registration is required.
