North Central College again will host its traditional Chords for Kids concert with its 17th performance beginning at 7PM Sat., March 2, 2024, in Wentz Concert Hall, located at 171 E. Chicago Ave., just east of Downtown Naperville. Doors open at 6:30PM.
This one-of-a-kind experience welcomes children with special needs and their families to come and enjoy a night of music and fun.
Adopting the motto, “Wiggles Welcome,” this free event encourages children with special needs to be themselves at a concert where parents do not have to worry about typical concert etiquette, organizers said.
The concert is sure to be a fun experience for the entire family.
Under the direction of Larry Van Oyen, professor of music, this concert features sing-alongs from SpongeBob SquarePants and Disney, as well as classical pieces and line dance songs such as the always popular “YMCA” and “The Chicken Dance.”
Tickets are free and can be reserved online or by calling the box office at (630) 637-SHOW. Guests will be welcome to take pictures and wheelchair seating is available.
