The West Suburban Irish will host its annual Naperville St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sat., March 9, 2024, again stepping off near Naperville North High School at 10AM.

More than 10,000 spectators are expected to be on hand to watch the parade as it runs through the streets of downtown Naperville, ending near Naperville Central High School.

“We are thrilled to have a unique mix of family entertainment this year, including pipe and drum bands, Irish dancers, and other Irish themed floats and parade entries,” said Rich Janor, Chairman of the Naperville St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

The fun parade also will feature local businesses, community groups and nonprofits, police and fire groups and elected officials. The parade also will be televised and recorded by Naperville Community Television (NCTV17).

“As an adopted son with Irish blood, I’m honored to serve as the Grand Marshal for the Naperville St. Patrick’s Day Parade,” stated Mayor Wehrli in a news release. “This event is a longtime family favorite; for years I proudly marched with my daughter’s McNulty Irish dance troupe.  Naperville cherishes this celebration of culture and heritage, where all who attend are a little Irish for the day.”
