Naperville Community Gardeners invite the public to attend their next meeting and program beginning at 6:30PM Mon., Feb. 5.
The program, “The Tallgrass Prairie: Grocery Store, Apothecary and Love Charm Shop,” will be presented by author and educator Cindy Crosby. Throughout Illinois’ history, people have used the prairie as a grocery store, pharmacy, art supply shop and even a place to find love potions. Discover the intriguing stories behind these rugged tallgrass plants and some of their beauty and utility in the garden today.
The meeting and program will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 1105 Catalpa Lane, Naperville. Programs are free for first-time visitors.
