Visit Naperville – Plan your dream wedding with us

-

Updated Post, Jan. 9, 2024 / More than 70 local wedding professionals are set to attend Naper Settlement’s Wedding Showcase, according to planners at Naper Settlement.

Engaged couples will enjoy one-on-one personal consultations from 10AM to 3PM on Sat., Jan. 20. Spread throughout the museum’s campus, couples will meet with florists, caterers, photographers, musicians, and other businesses in the wedding industry from Naperville and the surrounding western suburbs. Vendors will be located in the historic Century Memorial Chapel as well as two of the museum’s new buildings, the Birck Family Innovation Gateway and the Mary and Richard Benck Family Agriculture Center. This year’s Wedding Showcase will include more vendors than ever before.

The first 20 attendees at Wedding Showcase will receive a free ice cream scoop coupon from Jeni’s Ice Cream. Guests who visit each vendor booth can enter a raffle to win a prize, including gift cards, hotel room stay certificates, a complimentary bridal bouquet, and more from Wedding Showcase vendors.

Original Post, Dec. 4, 2023 / December is twinkling lights, sparkly packages, family gatherings and … engagements! After the toasts, ride the wave of excitement right into planning your big day with Naper Settlement’s Wedding Showcase.

Mark your calendar for January 20, 2024, from 10AM to 3PM for the premier wedding showcase in the area. The Settlement’s free event highlights local wedding venues and vendors including photographers, florists, ministers, musicians, bakers, caterers, and more. Have personal consultations with providers with a fantastic historic backdrop; enjoy the Pre-Emption House, Meeting House, Century Memorial Chapel, and the new Benck Family Agriculture Center all while kick-starting your wedding planning.

The Naperville Convention and Visitors Bureau (NCVB) will be at the showcase as well, and is always here to help facilitate your wedding needs. We offer complimentary services including assistance with site selection, bid proposals, site visits, hotel group blocks, and welcome bags for groups at Naperville hotels. Guests sure do love a welcome bag!

We also have exciting venue news! Two newcomers are now on the scene – the Matrix Club and the Crawford. The Matrix Club is a high-end banquet and performance venue offering space for large weddings (up to 1,200 people) with top notch hospitality and state-of-the-art technology. The Crawford is an elegant and modern venue with a 250-person ballroom and an outdoor patio that holds 140 guests, easily customizable to fit your needs.

Naperville’s four full-service hotels, the Embassy Suites, Hotel Arista, Hotel Indigo and Marriott Naperville are also popular wedding venues that add the convenience of having hotel rooms right at the venue. They all have incredible amenities, spacious guest rooms and gorgeous event spaces with an inclusive array of service options available.

A breadth of other local venues round out the choices such as the Pavilion at Meson Sabika, the Frog Pond at Hugo’s and a range of wonderful venues for smaller affairs.

No matter your venue preference, you won’t want to miss the Wedding Showcase and the opportunity to streamline your wedding planning. Register now at napersettlement.org/232/Wedding-Showcase.
