Where will you be on Thurs., Nov. 30 or Fri., Dec. 1? I hope getting into the holiday spirit at the Naperville Garden Club’s Cup of Cheer™ House Walk, Holiday Market and Tea!
From 9AM to 4PM both days, ticketholders may tour four homes in Naperville decorated for the holidays, shop our Holiday Market at the VFW located at 908 W. Jackson Ave., enjoy cookies baked (with love) by our members and take home a commemorative teacup and saucer or mug.
Also, at the Holiday Market is a raffle table and winners do not need to be present to win. And this year, the Elmhurst Choral Union will entertain from 11AM to 1PM at the Holiday Market.
Tickets are $60 for Thursday, with a limited number sold to allow us to guarantee no waiting in line at the houses. Friday tickets are $45. Tickets purchased in groups of 10 are given a 10% discount when purchased through our ticket chair, Barbara at (630) 650-4405. Tickets are available at Baird and Warner Realtor, 836 W. 75th St.; John Greene Realtor, 1311 S. Rt. 59 (the closest to White Eagle!); and The Growing Place (Naperville location only), 25 W. 471 Plank Rd.
The Holiday Market is open to non-ticketed shoppers after noon on Friday.
This event is our major fundraiser and helps us fund college scholarships to local students and community projects such as purchasing trees and supporting pollinators, offering educational opportunities to the public, providing weekly floral exhibits and treats for families at the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Edward Hospital, etc.
Your attendance at this event helps us make Naperville a wonderful place to live and visit. We have several groups that plan reunions around the Cup of Cheer™ House Walk, Holiday Market and Tea and families who have made our tradition their own, with third and fourth generation family members now attending.
