Signs around town are reminders that keeping the community safe is everyone’s responsibility. Lock it or lose it. Always be a Crime Stopper. If you see something suspicious, say something. Call 9-1-1. Always remember to watch out for children, cyclists, all pedestrians and other vehicles. The speed limit in Naperville is 25 mph unless otherwise noted.

Every day… Dine Naperville!

With assistance from Naperville Township and the City, the brick path and the flag pole with the Stars and Stripes near the Moser Covered Bridge at Webster Street were funded by the Riverwalk Foundation. (PN Photo)

Follow the brick path along Webster Street and head over the Riverwalk covered bridge to the Civic Plaza, Jackson Avenue at Webster. Note the plaque that says the Riverwalk celebrated its first 42 years on Sept. 7, 2023. Come experience the sights and sounds that lead to shopping, dining and entertainment in downtown Naperville. Be prepared for NaperLights to return to shine along Water Street during downtown Naperville’s Grand Illumination that begins Nov. 6. Watch how this location begins to glow with holiday decorations and updates coming soon!

When strolling the Riverwalk, look for bronze plaques that help tell the story of this community’s can-do spirit to create the Riverwalk Park along the DuPage River. In 2021, dozens of commemorative plaques from Main Street to Jefferson Avenue were restored by the Riverwalk Foundation.

Every day… Visit Naperville!
