During the Jaycees Labor Day Parade, Naperville Woman’s Club highlighted Witches Night Out and its new location. For 2023, the fundraiser is going GLAM from 5PM to 10:30PM Thurs., Oct. 19, at The Matrix Club, 808 Illinois Rt. 59, Naperville.
Witches Night Out is not just for the traditional witch this year. Women ages 21 and over can go all out Glam conjuring up their costumes for a night of fun, dancing, fantastic food, adult drinks—including a signature drink and commemorative glass–and engaging activities all while raising money for a good cause: Families Helping Families Charity.
Hosted by the Naperville Woman’s Club, GLAM Witches Night Out this year will put the emphasis on glamorous with a posh new indoor venue—The Matrix Club– setting the stage for the wide range of creative costumes and photo opportunities, a fantastic sound system, DJ and dance instructor for the nation-wide popular Witches Dance.

Attendees still have the choice of selecting a traditional witch costume, a flowing gown with wings or go all out Glam decked out with jewels, pearls and crowns. And they can show off their creations on the catwalk for the costume contest.
Glam is still a women-only event with only an occasional warlock volunteer allowed. In addition to the very popular costume contest, a scavenger hunt and dance instruction. New this year is trivia as well as party games to get the fun started.
Various vendors will be on hand selling their wares. In addition, attendees can take part in a wine pull, raffles, mystery boxes, tarot card readers and more.
Hundreds of women attend this social fundraiser each year, organizers say. This year’s event will benefit Families Helping Families. FHF’s mission is to move families in DuPage County experiencing homelessness to self-sufficiency. Find more FHF info at www.famhelpingfam.org.
In addition, attendees can bring a canned good to donate to Loaves and Fishes and receive a ticket for the raffle.
Advance tickets only. Tickets are available online at Eventbrite and cost $75 plus ticket fees. No tickets will be sold at the door. To purchase tickets or to get more information including activity updates, menu and sponsorship opportunities go to witchesnightoutnaperville.org.
