The Exchange Club of Naperville will host a Life Skills for Teens event from 1PM to 4PM on Sat., Sept. 30, 2023, at the Alive Center.

Experts will be on hand to provide advice on automotive basics, banking and budgeting ideas, cooking basics, self-defense, insurance basics, how to sew a button on a shirt or fix a simple tear in youth clothing.

In addition, resume writing, interview skills, and other resource skills will be offered.

The Naperville Fire and Police Departments also will be on site providing CPR skills, First Aid skills and safety tips.

The goal of the fair is to connect the youth of our community with resource skills and lessons that will last a lifetime.

“The teens in our community are so important to use and we wanted to host and event like the Life Skills Fair so we can give them some basic skills that can last forever,” said event chair Becky Pundy.

Life Skills for Teens is a free event open to all youth, grades five through 12.
