Things to do around Naperville this weekend: Sept. 8-10



Brats at Kreger’s / 10AM to 3PM Fridays and Saturdays / Kreger’s Brat and Sausage Haus, 606 N. Ellsworth / Stop by for lunch, conversation and camaraderie. Disability Awareness / 2-4PM at White Eagle Clubhouse – 4265 White Eagle Drive Naperville, IL 60564 /  Chris Lenart and Sunita Patel are guest speakers. Chris Lenart has Cerebral Palsy and has overcome many challenges by advocating for himself and others. Sunita Patel is part is the Vice-Chair of SIBS (Supporting Illinois Brothers and Sisters) and will talk about the caregiving role of a sibling. Come listen and learn. If you are comfortable, you are welcome to join in the conversation to share your own story as well. Chris will have some copies of his book, “They Said We Couldn’t”, available for sale at the event.
