While fall and “back to school” vibes may be on the horizon, there is still plenty of summer left to pack into Naperville fun and adventures!
Take advantage of the host of places that have patios and outdoor dining like Empire, Vai’s, Catch 35, Hugo’s Frog Bar, Katrina Latin Bites and Bar, and the award-winning patio at Meson Sabika.
Naperville’s incredible array of restaurants present many more choices to indulge in dining or cocktails alfresco, so take your pick.
Grab a fun crew and create a progressive cocktail, appetizer or dessert tasting day. Include a ride with Naperville Trolley or Tuk Tuk Naperville, both such fun options for groups to get around!
The summer event lineup is still going strong with farmers markets, India Day Parade and Celebration, Old Naperville Day, and chances to see live music at Naper Nights, Millennium Carillon concerts or Naperville Municipal Band concerts. For some water fun, book a kayak or standup paddle board with Naperville Kayak, take a paddle around Paddleboat Quarry, spend the day at Centennial Beach, or check out one of Naperville’s splash pads with the kids.
You can’t beat a leisurely stroll along the Riverwalk in the summer, but if you want something more active, consider a round of golf or look for the Naperville Park District’s outdoor fitness areas to meet a friend for an outdoor workout, followed by coffee or lunch, of course.
Cycling with a group to explore Naperville’s bike routes is another great active option, just don’t forget to plan stops along the way for your favorite bites or drinks.
