The Rotary Club of Naperville-Sunrise will host the 26th Annual Rotary Ride on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Commissioners Park, departing from 3704 111th Street.
Note also both start and finish are at Commissioners Park where there’s plenty of free parking. This is a ride, not a race.
The Ride has a 1.4 mile family loop, 21, 41, and 62 (metric century) mile routes. Riders may start at 6:30AM and no later than 10AM. Cyclists riding the 62-mile route must start by 8:30AM. Cyclists riding the 41-mile route must start by 9:15AM.
All routes are SAG supported and rest stops are fully staffed with food and drinks. Proceeds from the Ride will benefit Rotary International’s Campaign to End Polio and several local charities.
The 26th Rotary Ride is presented by DiGiovine Hnilo Jordan + Johnson Ltd., in memory of Carmen DiGiovine. In 1997, Sunrise Rotarian and avid cyclist DiGiovine served on the committee that developed the first Rotary Ride, a project that he continued for many years.
