Original Post, June 8, 2023 / Naperville Noon Lions Club in conjunction with Go Brewing is planning a benefit for Families Helping Families. The kick off event is 12-Noon to 10PM on Sat., June 24, with
collection through July 20, 2023.

“Members of the Naperville Noon Lions Club take the Lion’s motto, ‘We Serve’ to heart, and looks for ways to give to those organizations in need throughout the year,” is proclaimed on a flyer to promote its upcoming benefit, noting that Families Helping Families has been among many charitable organizations that receives and will continue to receive support from the Naperville Noon Lions.

Since 1994, Families Helping Families has been a grass roots neighborhood organization started by a dedicated Naperville mom. The primary focus has been to help families facing homelessness in DuPage County. FHF provides apartments and supportive services to families facing homelessness while they are working to reclaim their lives.

Families Helping Families has provided housing, mentoring and emergency services for homeless families in DuPage County. Low-income families often qualify for Food Stamps/SNAP; however, personal and household products cannot be purchased using those funds.

The goal of this collaborative event is to gather products that are necessary to everyday life and make them available to these families.
