On Sunday, June 4, 2023, at approximately 2:04PM, Naperville Police responded to the 2200 block of Wentworth Court to a report of shots fired.
The preliminary investigation suggests that an armed subject, who is known to a person at the residence, was able to gain access to the premises. It has yet to be determined as to what transpired but there was an exchange of gunfire between the subject and one person in the home. The subject then fled the area in a vehicle.
No one on the scene was injured and it is not believed that the person who fled was struck in
the exchange either.
This incident is currently under an active investigation. There have been no arrests made at this time.
