Above / The Paddleboat Quarry, Jaycees Playground and Centennial Beach now are open for the summer season. Stroll the winding Naperville Riverwalk available every day of the year from the Jefferson Avenue Bridge to the Hillside Road Bridge. And, of course, right now, passersby can pause to watch construction underway for rebuilding the Washington Street Bridge near Fredenhagen Park. Remember! With progress comes patience.

View rarely-seen clothing and accessories from the Naperville Heritage Society and the Winnetka Historical Society’s collections. Central Park is home of the Naperville Community Concert Center, three public art works on the Century Walk tour, the Blackhawk War Memorial, a playground and other historic markers. This September, the West Suburban Irish will move its Irish Fest to Central Park and the Sister Cities Foundation will host its 3rd Annual Hispanic Fest in the city’s downtown park. FREE admission. Frontier Park is located just south of the 95th Street Library and Neuqua Valley High School. Experienced kite flyers suggest the best winds for success are 7-15 mph. Élan Dance Company to Present Showcase / 5:30-6:30PM Sun., June 4 at Pfeiffer Hall, 310 E. Benton on the campus of North Central College. Naperville Park District invites the community to the Élan Dance Company’s 2023 Showcase. Élan Dance Company includes 40 dancers ranging in age from 8-16. An audition-based program, Élan is part of the Park District’s Dance Academy. Admission is FREE.
