Downtown Naperville again hosts its ‘free’ Tulip Bulb Pickup

-

Above / Downtown Naperville will host its annual FREE tulip bulb giveaway from 8AM to 10AM Fri., June 9.

“Want to add some Downtown Naperville flower power to your own yard?” asked Danielle Tufano, Executive Director of the Downtown Naperville Alliance.

The tulips in the downtown and surrounding areas are sadly done blooming for the season, but bulbs are once again being offered to community members with the help of Naperville Public Works and Naperville Park District.

Free tulip bulbs will be available for pick up from 8AM-10AM Fri., June 9, on Main Street between Van Buren and Benton Avenue (55 S. Main Street) in Downtown Naperville, while supplies last.

Tulip bulb picker-uppers are asked to BYO bag and be prepared personally to select tulip bulbs from large crates. Tulip quantities may be limited, based on demand.

While tulip bulb pick up is free of charge, representatives from Turning Pointe Autism Foundation will be on site to assist in exchange for a voluntary cash or check donation to their organization, Tufano said.

Downtown Naperville’s 2023 Tulip Bulb Pickup is made possible by support and partnerships with Naperville Public Works and the Naperville Park District.
