For the 2022-23 season, Élan Dance Company includes 40 dancers ranging in age from 8-16. An audition-based program, Élan provides a foundation in dance performance and essential experience participating in a dance company. Dancers continue to work on their technique, learn teamwork and participate in several performances throughout the year.

Individuals who choose to participate in competitive dance also have the opportunity to enter two dance competitions and attend a dance convention.

“Élan has grown so much this past year,” said Dance Coordinator Raegan Milan. “We are all very proud of the dancers, their hard work, and the way they represented the Park District’s Naperville Dance Academy at many community events and fundraisers this season.

Milan added, “One of the highlights of the season was that the dancers who attended the dance convention won multiple awards for being kind, friendly and caring. These values are an essential part of what we hope the dancers learn and experience in the program.”
