The Naperville Salute returns June 30-July 3

-

The Naperville Salute will return to Rotary Hill alongside the Riverwalk June 30 through July 3.

Under the leadership of Michele Clemen, the Salute is the City’s family-friendly Independence Day Weekend hometown celebration, centered around appreciation for Veterans, active military, first responders and their families.

To focus on family and celebrate freedom, the festival will combine food and beverage vendors, a Family Fun Zone, live entertainment, and special presentations by military.

The 2nd Naperville Salute Ruck March will take place on July 2.

Clemen recalls one Ruck attendee and volunteer stated, “Last year’s Ruck March was the epitome of patriotism and I know how moving it was for everyone involved to see the participants carrying their flags down Rotary Hill to the finish line.”

The Salute looks forward to growing this event in 2023 with lots of great surprises planned for our Ruckers, Clemen added.

Proceeds from The Salute benefit Naperville Responds For Veterans, a nonprofit organization that assists qualified Veterans in need with home repairs and renovations.
