VFW Friday Fish Fry Returns during Lent / 4:30 – 7:30PM Judd Kendall VFW Post 3873 – 908 W. Jackson Ave. Naperville, IL 60540 / Adults: $24, Seniors (65+): $20, Children (4-11): $10, Children (3 & under): Free / The annual “All You Can Eat” Friday night Fish Fry dinners begin are Fridays from 4:30PM to 7:30PM. These dinners will continue through Lent and are open to the public. As in the past, a buffet menu will feature a variety of fish, meat, vegetables, and other food items prepared by Belgio’s Catering. Menus vary each week and include dessert, coffee, and nonalcoholic beverages or water. For more than 50 years, attending the Friday night Fish Fry upstairs at the VFW during Lent has become a tradition for many local residents. District 204 Mental Health Symposium / 8AM – 12:30PM Metea Valley High School –  1801 N. Eola Rd. Aurora, IL 60564 / Indian Prairie School District 204 is inviting you to attend the Mental Health Symposium on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Metea Valley High School from 8AM to 12:30PM. The symposium will include a continental breakfast, keynote session, multiple breakout sessions, and a community resource fair. The first 300 attendees will receive an event bag containing mental health resources, promotional information and items from sponsors, and an event souvenir. Chords for Kids / 7PM Wentz Concert Hall – 171 E. Chicago Ave. Naperville, IL 60540 / North Central College presents “Chords for Kids” at 7PM Sat., March 4, in Wentz Concert Hall, 171 E Chicago Ave. The North Central College Concert Winds presents a concert for children with autism and special needs. The concert will include music such as “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “YMCA,” and the “Chicken Dance.” The concert is intended for the entire family to come and enjoy the music in a welcoming environment. “Wigglers Welcomed!” Event is free but tickets are required for entry; call 630-637-SHOW (7469) or visit northcentralcollege.edu/show.

The Road to Les Miz / Madden Theatre – 171 E. Chicago Ave. Naperville, IL 60540 / North Central College presents Brian Lynch “The Road to Les Miz” at 3PM and 6PM Sun., March 5, in Madden Theatre, 171 E. Chicago Ave. Lynch has been called one of the finest talents in American Musical Theatre when he toured the country as Jean Valjean in the Marius Company of “Les Miserables.” Tickets are $30-35. Pizza Pop-up Event / Pizza is planned by Marmion Academy for families with 5th-grade to 8th-grade boys at Aurelio’s Pizza from 6 to 8PM on Wed., March 8, 2023.
