Naper Settlement is prepared to present the following events and programs during March 2023. The museum is open from 10AM-4PM Tuesday through Friday with general museum admission $6 for adults (13+), $5 for seniors (62+), and $4 for youth (4-12). Naperville residents with proof of residency, children under 4, and members receive complimentary admission.

“Inspiring Curiosity” Exhibit

Naper Settlement in collaboration with the Naperville Art League are pleased to present the exhibit, “Inspiring Curiosity,” featuring over 60 works of art by Naperville Art League members. On view at Naper Settlement, the exhibit features 36 local artists’ paintings, drawings, photographic images, and more based on the theme of curiosity.
Education Volunteer Informational Meeting

Recollection Roundtable: Music and Motion

Recollection Roundtable engages local seniors with theme-based artifacts and images from the museum’s collection. The goal of each visit is to provide opportunities for seniors to recollect the past and share memories with other seniors, their guests, and museum staff. In addition, Naper Settlement will also offer opportunities for seniors to record oral histories. This session’s theme is music and motion-listen to hits of the past and get groovy!
Tavern Trivia: Spring Tea

Naper Settlement’s staff wants to see how much you know about women’s history in America! Enjoy tea and sweet treats while playing a rousing game of series trivia, set amidst a village flower show. Feel free to get in the spirit of the day and wear your best hat, gloves, and accessories, either historic or contemporary! Trivia teams are limited to four people; join as a team or as individuals. Scouts Spring Fling

Welcome warmer weather and shake off cabin fever during Naper Settlement’s annual tribute to the changing seasons. Explore the museum’s historic buildings, talk with costumed interpreters, create a fun Spring craft, and learn how to build teamwork with your troops! Scouts receive a fun patch in honor of this event. The program is suitable for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of all ages. Pre-registration is required.

Weed Ladies Spring Preview

The Weed Ladies Spring Preview features creative seasonal floral arrangements for sale. Each one-of-a-kind silk or dried floral creation has been designed by the Weed Ladies of the Naperville Heritage Society volunteer group. Proceeds benefit the Naperville Heritage Society. Admission to the Spring Preview is free. Please enter the Pre-Emption House Visitor Center and inform the Guest Services Team that you are attending the Spring Preview.
