This is a busy and exciting time at the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA). We are putting the finishing touches on our signature fundraiser The Bash coming up Saturday, March 4.
This event has a singular focus… changing lives for participants and families. Creating a better quality of life for today, tomorrow and all the tomorrows after that is what your support will do when you attend. Why? Because those who need special recreation in their lives need it for a lifetime.
We invite you to join us in making sure every child, teen and adult continues to have access to special recreation. You can make it possible for individuals to find friends and open opportunities that may not exist in other areas of their lives. You’ll not only be putting a smile on their faces and hope in their hearts, but you’ll be giving families the chance to enjoy the same life experiences that most of us take for granted.
Your support offers the opportunity to grow personally, connect with peers and the community they live in as well as discover the world around them.
We have a spectacular evening planned! The evening includes cocktails & dinner, a dessert bar, a robust silent auction, a very popular Wine & Spirit Pull, and a LIVE auction that includes some once-in-a-lifetime experiences. There is also a Yeti Party Raffle – you could take home a Yeti Tundra cooler overflowing with goodies. Or you could take home a 6-day, 5-night trip for four to Belize from our new Trip Raffle!
After the fundraising concludes, it’s time to hit the dance floor or just sit back and relax as Sounds Abound Entertainment takes over and the fun continues. The DJ will be playing the hottest new songs as well as some oldies-but-goodies…including dance, pop and rock.
