Yvette Saba, BSN, MSN, a nurse executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience at academic and community hospitals, is now President of Edward Hospital in Naperville, one of nine hospitals part of NorthShore – Edward-Elmhurst Health (NS-EEH). Saba takes over for Joseph Dant, who was promoted to President, South Region, NS-EEH.

“It’s an honor to follow in the footsteps of so many outstanding Edward leaders and have the opportunity to build on the legacy of high-quality, compassionate care that we provide,” stated Saba in a news release. “I can assure our patients and their families that our vision remains the same – that their experience will be safe, seamless and personal, every time.”

Saba was previously System Vice President of Operations for EEH. She joined Edward Hospital in 1991 and led numerous service lines and departments, including cardiovascular, women and children’s, emergency, laboratory and occupational health services. Saba’s leadership contributed to growth and recognition from organizations such as Merative (Top Health Systems and Top Hospitals), American Heart Association/American Stroke Association and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Saba earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from St. Louis University, master’s degree from Rush University and MBA from Loyola University. She is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
