On Tuesday, Jan. 17, at approximately 5PM, Naperville Police responded to a report of a suspicious incident that occurred earlier that afternoon.

Two middle school-aged girls reported that they were approached by an adult male as they were walking near School and Ellsworth streets around 4PM.

The man began to walk with them, asked them a series of personal questions and offered to take one of the girls to a location she liked to hang out. The girls refused to share information with him, at which point he stopped walking with them and walked westbound toward Washington Street.

The man is described as a male white, approximately 5’10” – 6” tall with a thin build and brown hair, wearing a dark t-shirt and jeans.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact the Naperville Police Department at (630) 420-6666 and ask for the Investigations Division.
