The Naperville Jaycees Last Fling is ready to rock and currently is accepting applications from bands to play the festival scheduled Labor Day Weekend, Fri., Sept. 1, through Mon., Sept. 4, 2023.

Musical artist submissions are being accepted through Tues., Jan. 31, to perform on the Jackson Avenue Stage via the event website, www.LastFling.org/JacksonStage.

Be prepared to provide the following required information with availability from Sept. 1 to Sept. 4, 2023:

  • Name of the act
  • Contact name and number
  • Performance price, and music sample (including a video or YouTube link).

Bands must have 90 to 120 minutes of material to be considered.

“After well-attended and successful events in ‘21 and last year ‘22, we’re looking forward to hosting the community again in 23,” noted Pete Paulsen, Last Fling Director, in a press release.

Approximately 20 slots need to be filled with live music on the Jackson Avenue Stage throughout the four-day festival, organizers said.

Paulsen continued, “There is a lot to celebrate in Naperville and we are excited to bring people together for one Last Fling before the summer ends and raise money for area non-profits while doing so.  See you there!”
