Look for Toys for Tots collection sites at five Naperville Park District locations

-

Members of the Naperville Park District Police invite the community to contribute new, unwrapped toys for the 2022 DuPage County Toys for Tots program, hosted by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Toys will be collected at various Naperville Park District locations from now through Sat., Dec. 10.

“Last year the Naperville community donated more than 2,200 toys through our Toys for Tots collection,” said Chief Steve Schindlbeck. “Your generosity helped brighten the holidays for many children in our area.”

Since 1947, communities have supported the annual Toys for Tots drive organized by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. The familiar Toys for Tots logo was designed by Walt Disney and marks the spot for many official collection sites throughout the community.

Toys for Tots accepts only new, unwrapped toys. Please do not donate stuffed animals or toy weapons.

Editor’s Note / Other locations around Naperville also have drop-off collection boxes for Toys for Tots. Simply look for the Toys for Tots logo or an official poster by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve on a door or window.

Both locations of Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes, 516 S Washington Street and 24021 Royal Worlington Drive, are collection sites for Toys for Tots.

A collection box is also at Rosie’s Home Cookin’, located at 1567 N. Aurora Road.

All donations are appreciated for young children. Kindly help fill collection boxes by Dec. 10, 2022.
