Members of the Naperville Park District Police invite the community to contribute new, unwrapped toys for the 2022 DuPage County Toys for Tots program, hosted by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Toys will be collected at various Naperville Park District locations from now through Sat., Dec. 10.
“Last year the Naperville community donated more than 2,200 toys through our Toys for Tots collection,” said Chief Steve Schindlbeck. “Your generosity helped brighten the holidays for many children in our area.”
Choice of Collection Sites
- Park District Administration Building, located at 320 W. Jackson Ave. Drop off toys in the collection box in the vestibule.
- Central Maintenance Facility, located at 427 Martin Avenue. Drop off toys in the collection box in the vestibule.
- Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, located at 305 W. Jackson Ave. Hours of operation are: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM to 8PM. Drop off toys inside the first floor entrance.
- Fort Hill Activity Center, located at 20 Fort Hill Drive. Hours of operation are: Monday-Friday, 5AM to 10PM – Saturday, 6AM to 7PM – Sunday, 7AM to 6PM. Drop off toys in the lobby on the first floor.
- 95th Street Center, located at 2244 W. 95th St. Hours of operation are: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM to 8PM. Drop off toys in the lobby on the second floor.
Toys for Tots accepts only new, unwrapped toys. Please do not donate stuffed animals or toy weapons.
Editor’s Note / Other locations around Naperville also have drop-off collection boxes for Toys for Tots. Simply look for the Toys for Tots logo or an official poster by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve on a door or window.
Both locations of Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes, 516 S Washington Street and 24021 Royal Worlington Drive, are collection sites for Toys for Tots.
A collection box is also at Rosie’s Home Cookin’, located at 1567 N. Aurora Road.
All donations are appreciated for young children. Kindly help fill collection boxes by Dec. 10, 2022.
