On Tuesday, October 4, Bill Jacobs BMW donated $21,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. The money was raised from Bill Jacobs BMW annual charity golf outing, which was held in August.
Every year, Bill Jacobs BMW hosts a charity golf outing in late summer that raises money for local charities. The last two years, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana has been the beneficiary.
Over the past two years, through the golf outing and other philanthropic efforts, Bill Jacobs BMW has donated over $60,000 to this organization.
The golf outing this year had over 200 golfers, comprised of community members, customers and vendors. The donation will pay for 210 nights for families to stay together at the house.
Locally in the western suburbs, Ronald McDonald House Charities operates a House in Winfield, adjacent to Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital and a Family Room at Edward Hospital in Naperville, which provide comfort and support to families while their children are being treated at close-by hospitals.
Ronald McDonald House Charities’ mission is to help families get better together. With the help of the local community, they provide lodging for families with children in the hospital – keeping families together, and providing a comfortable, warm, and loving home away from home.
