American Legion Socials are slated certain months through April 2023

Updated Post, Oct. 10, 2022 / American Legion Post 43 Social is Sat., Oct. 15.

Original Post, Sept. 10, 2022 / The American Legion Post 43 again will host its dinner/socials on the third Saturday of certain months, kicking off with cocktails at 6PM on Sept. 17, followed by a catered full-course dinner at 7PM at the VFW Hall, 908 W. Jackson Ave.

The first social will be an opportunity to meet and greet the Post 43 newly-installed officers.
The cost for all Dinner/Socials remains the same at $15 per person, $7 for children age 7-14, and children age 6 and under still eat for free.

Folks are invited to sign-up at monthly Post meetings or look for the flyer for RSVP information via email.

On Oct. 15, the dinner program theme is Octoberfest, complete with seasonal fun and a prost.

The Nov. 11 dinner will celebrate Veteran’s Day with a traditional turkey dinner and all the fixings prepared by dedicated New Cooks led by Post Commander Nadia Baran and Bob Rechemacher.

Note no Dinner/Social is held in December.

The public is welcome to join Veterans for Dinner/Socials scheduled Sept. 17, Oct. 15, Nov. 11, Jan. 21, 2022, Feb. 18, 2023, March 18, 2023, and April 15, 2023. Be sure to RSVP when the e-mail blast goes out to ensure reservations.
