Note about vacant County Board seat

Amy Chavez, a Naperville resident, has served as a County Board member since 2020. Her vacant seat will be filled by Chairman Cronin with the advice and consent of the County Board.

Under state election law, a new member must be appointed within 60 days of Chavez’ resignation from the Board and must be from the same political party – Chavez is a Democrat.
