Above / Group seeks space for Toys for Tots Warehouse to be available from September through December 2022.
The DuPage County Toys for Tots group is looking for a warehouse to use for its 2022 toy drive campaign. Donated space is fully tax deductible to the owner and the group will pay for utility usage.
Minimum requirements:
-Located anywhere in DuPage County
-10k sqft or more preferred
-Bathroom(s)
-Sept/Oct-Dec 30 use (They clear out pretty quick after Christmas.)
Nice to haves but not required:
-Multiple doors/entryways
-Loading dock
If you know anyone with a warehouse or large open office area type space that will be vacant during that time and looking for a donation deduction, contact Jennifer Sloan, American Legion Post 43, at (630) 803-2251.
“Last year the Marine Corps Reserve DuPage County Toys for Tots helped ensure that over 34,000 children in DuPage County received a toy for Christmas,” noted Sloan.
Toys for Tots marks first 75 years in 2022
In the fall, Toys for Tots collection sites will be available at local businesses and Naperville Park District offices as well as at the Naperville Marines Ball where folks can lend support by dropping off brand new unwrapped toys for children.
In early December, those collection boxes will be emptied by reservists to be sorted and distributed to families via the warehouse.
Monetary donations for DuPage County Toys for Tots also are accepted throughout the year. Mail a check or money order (Payable to Toys for Tots) c/o Linda Bellow, 20 E Adams St., Villa Park, IL 60181. Or simply click Donate Online and follow prompts. Online donations will stay in DuPage County.
