Naperville Bank & Trust: July Spotlight on Business Success

Business: Alive Center

500 W 5th Ave. Naperville, IL 60563 (630) 778-6093 / www.alivecenter.org

“Helping us get a PPP loan during the pandemic allowed us to keep staff working on behalf of teens. We could continue to be a much-needed resource for kids and parents at a critical time.”

– Elisa Henley, Operations Manager, Alive Center

Alive Center is focused on empowering the youth of today to become the impassioned and resilient leaders of tomorrow.

During COVID it was important for Alive to meet the changing needs of the community. They helped schools by giving students a place to do their e-learning and presented online programs to support kids’ mental health during isolation. Everyone worked to get kids back to Alive safely as early as possible.

Alive’s teen-led, teen-driven programs give teens leadership and organizational skills and help them share their interests and talents in a safe environment. From after-school Drop-in sports, games, STEM and arts experiences, to adult-mentored, teen-led camps, Alive is helping young people discover ways to give back to the community while growing themselves.

“Naperville Bank & Trust has been a great partner,” says Elisa Henley. “Getting help with COVID funding was so important, but honestly, every time I need them, they’re there to help. It’s a relationship I can count on.”

Spotlight on Business Success is sponsored by Naperville Bank & Trust, serving Naperville with three locations, 555 Fort Hill Dr., 1205 S. Naper Blvd. and 5 S. Washington in the historic downtown post office. For more info, visit www.banknaperville.com.
