The Exchange Club of Naperville announces annual Youth Scholarship Recipients

-

The Exchange Club of Naperville recently announced its 2022 Youth Scholarship recipients.
In April, the service club recognized six Academic Scholarship awardees, each of whom received a $750 award: Grace Balsamo, Benet Academy; Sean Hickey, Metea Valley High School; Alauren Lane, Metea Valley High School; Anna Lankisch, Metea Valley High School; Asma Yawari, Metea Valley High School; and Aca Zoe Kennedy, Naperville Central High School.

In May, Kennedy also was named “Youth of the Year.” In addition, the ACE (Accepting the Challenge of Excellence) Scholarship award was presented to Audrey Arlis, Benet Academy. Both awards were $1,000.

“The Exchange Club of Naperville is proud of these outstanding high school seniors and wish them the best in furthering their education,” stated Dawn Portner, noting the students had been recognized during club meetings this spring.

Exchange, America’s Service Club, is a group of men and women working together to make their communities better places to live through programs of service in Americanism, Community Service, Youth Activities, and its national program—The Prevention of Child Abuse.

Chartered in 1987, the Exchange Club of Naperville is dedicated to the elimination of child abuse and domestic violence in all forms. The Exchange Club has given back more than $18 million to the communities it serves.
