Downtown Naperville is Cruising Into Summer / All Day / One of the tell-tale signs that summer is here are the Downtown Naperville summer sculptures. This year’s sculpture theme is Cruising Into Summer. As a result, 16 amazing pick-up trucks are now scattered throughout the downtown area through September. downtownnaperville.com.

Live Music at Quigley’s / 8:30PM / 43 E. Jefferson Ave. / Tres Moustache to perform at Quigley’s Irish Pub in downtown Naperville.

St. Raphael Catholic Church Blood Drive / 7AM-12:30PM / 1215 Modaff Rd. / St. Raphael Catholic Church is holding a blood drive Saturday, June 11 from 7AM to 12:30PM. Click on the event link to signup for a time slot. Walk-ins welcome after 9AM.

Naperville Farmer’s Market / 7AM-Noon / Fifth Avenue Station / Enjoy a farm-to-table meal with a plethora of locally grown food. You’ll also find an array products, performances and events, making this a great destination for the whole family.

Enjoy a little pick-me-up by touring the pickup-truck sculptures on exhibit throughout downtown Naperville all summer long. They might be the same shape, but they each tell a different story. Cheers!

Hometown Picnic / 1-4 PM / Naper Settlement – 523 S. Webster St. / Hometown Picnic features summertime traditions including games, contests and races, a vintage baseball game, and an apple pie baking competition. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and a picnic to enjoy the fast-paced action of bare-knuckle baseball, based on the original rules from 1858, when the Lemont Quarrymen take on the McLean County Prairie Chickens at 1:30PM. Bakers are needed for the apple pie baking competition that features bakers from throughout the area. www.NaperSettlement.org

Concerts in Your Park / 7PM / Queensbury Greens 1520 Brookdale Rd. / The Student Body to perform. Concerts in Your Park is a Sunday evening summer music series for families and neighbors; each concert is held at a different neighborhood park. Join friends and neighbors, bring your lawn chairs and blankets to experience a FREE evening of outdoor musical entertainment from 7-8:30PM.
