Above / Indian Prairie Unit School District 204 Administration Offices are located at 780 Shoreline Drive in DuPage County. The school district serves nearly 27,400 students from the Illinois communities of Naperville, Aurora, Bolingbrook and Plainfield, in DuPage and Will counties.
At its May 16 meeting, the District 204 Board of Education voted to approve a new four-year contract for classified staff. Members of the Indian Prairie Classified Association (IPCA) approved their agreement on May 6 with 77 percent in favor and 23 percent against.
The new four-year agreement calls for an average pay increase of 11.48% in year one, 5.7% in year two, and 3% in years three and four. Classified staff will also receive a $500 bonus on June 15, 2022, and a $500 bonus on September 15, 2022.
Superintendent Adrian Talley said the approval of this four-year agreement with IPCA demonstrates the strong collaborative relationship between the district and our classified staff.
“We have been blessed to have such exemplary and exceptional support staff who daily demonstrate their tenacity, dedication, and esprit de corps by helping and working with our students and their peers,” Talley said.
The current IPCA contract expires at the end of June (2022).
