North Central College’s Theatre Department will welcome The Addams Family, a musical comedy, to the stage at Pfeiffer Hall beginning April 28. The performances will take place at 7:30PM on April 28, 29 and 30; and at 2PM April 30 and May 1.
Tickets are free of admission charge and performances are open to the public; reservations can be made online.

Note that while the online site says $2 service charge for online tickets, according to the show’s faculty director, it doesn’t actually charge anyone, noted Kelly Murphy, Associate Director of Communication and PR for North Central College.
Individuals also can obtain free tickets at the Wentz Box Office from 10AM to 6PM, Tuesday through Friday. The box office is located at 171 E. Chicago Avenue. In addition, tickets will be available at the Pfeiffer Hall Theatre on the day-of performance, an hour before the shows.
The Addams Family show synopsis
The Addams Family, a comical feast (based on the characters created by Charles Addams) embraces the wackiness in every family. The musical features an original story that is every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family—a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before—keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
The show run time is two hours plus an intermission.
