Art Auction , April 5-8 / Art up for bid will benefit Naperville Art League

Original Post, April 4, 2022 / The Naperville Art League is hosting its Annual Art Auction.

Silent bidding will take place in-gallery and online Tues., April 5, through 1PM Fri., April 8. Bidding is open to everyone. There is no fee to participate.

Art being auctioned may be viewed on the League’s website http://www.napervilleartleague.com/annual-auction-2022.html (click on images to see full image) and at the Naperville Fine Art Center & Gallery, 508 N. Center St, Naperville.

Items featuring the work of several past Naperville Art League presidents include whimsical art by George Berlin, oil paintings by M. Massidda, and a stunning 48 X 92 wall sculpture in neutral tones by Sheila Bruns.

A number of other artists are represented in the selection including Cynthia Boudreau, known for her award-winning felted art; Sally Sharp, current president of the Naperville Art League; Marianne Lisson Kuhn, known for her the pen and ink art that has been displayed throughout the western suburbs; photographic artists; Chris Hughes, acrylics; Roberta Sieber, oil pastels; Sheri Lee Butler, acrylics; Jennifer Hauser, unique tree art; and many more.

Several pieces are large-size for dramatic wall décor.

Bidding will be time-stamped and closes at 1PM on Fri., April 8. Winners will be notified that afternoon and art can be picked up Sat., April 9.

Gallery hours: 10AM to 5PM Tuesday through Friday and 10AM to 4PM Saturday.

Proceeds help support the Naperville Art League, a 501c3 non-profit organization.

The Naperville Fine Art Center & Gallery is open to the public year-round for art classes, gallery shows, and events.
