Awake Illinois is set to host fundraiser on Feb. 25

-

Awake Illinois, a Naperville-based nonprofit that advocates to protect the liberties and rights of Illinoisans, will host a fundraiser at Tap In Pub from 6:30PM to 10:30PM on Fri., Feb. 25, 2022. A portion of the proceeds raised at “Awake at Night” also will benefit Naperville Responds for Veterans.

According to Shannon Adcock, founder and president of Awake Illinois, “Knowing that our military servicemen and women are the ultimate freedom fighters, we are pleased to select Naperville Responds for Veterans as this event’s charitable cause.”

“Awake at Night” will feature food, cash bar drinks, and laughs with comedian Ken Sevara. Sevara is billed as a corporate comedian, humorist, radio personality and actor who has performed at hundreds of comedy clubs throughout Chicagoland, the United States and Canada.

The benefit will be held in the Tap In Pub, located at CityGate Centre around the corner from Hotel Arista at 2155 CityGate Lane, just off Ferry Road.

Tickets are $50 per person or $75 per couple. Tickets can be purchased online at www.awakeil.com/22, or attendees may send checks (payable to Awake Illinois) to PO Box 9620, Naperville, IL 60567. Sponsorships are available.

Awake Illinois was launched by parents in May 2021 to build a grassroots movement of fellow parents and citizens who are committed to protecting our children, our liberties, and our American way of life. The nonpartisan 501(c)(4) helps parents and community members engage their communities with current and relevant information that will empower them to be involved volunteers and advocates. Its first chapter was chartered in Naperville and has expanded to include 31 chapters throughout the state.
