Naperville Police investigate armed robbery, seek information

At approximately 9AM on Thurs., Dec. 16, 2021, Naperville Police Officers responded to the Dollar Tree at 1550 N. Rt. 59 for a report of an armed robbery.

Preliminary investigation indicated one suspect entered the business displaying a knife. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of United States currency and fled the scene on foot. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a male, Black, approximately 5’10”, 200 lbs., wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

This incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Naperville Police Department at (630) 420-6666 and ask for the Investigations Division.
