‘Naperville Works!’ job fair is set from 8:30AM to Noon Oct. 15

Naperville Works! aims to bring job seekers and job opportunities together at the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle Street, in downtown Naperville.

Update, Oct. 15, 2021 / Today’s the day for all ages seeking part-time or full-time employment to head to City Hall for the job fair. Some employers are looking for weekend-only staff. Many offer flexible job opportunities with choices open seven days a week. Others seek mature and experienced part-time workers in a wide range of categories.

Original Post, Oct. 5, 2021 / The Career & Networking Center is holding a job fair from 8:30PM to Noon on Fri., Oct. 15, 2021. The job fair will be held in the lower level of the Naperville Municipal Center, Meeting Rooms A and B.  

Parking is available on site. Masks are required.

The morning-long event is a partnership among the Career & Networking Center, the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, Naperville Development Partnership and the Downtown Naperville Alliance to bring together job seekers and employers. Forty businesses will be on-site to meet and interview potential employees.

Career counselors will be available for assistance with mock interviews, resume writing and career coaching; scholarships for B.A.S.S.E.T. training for qualified candidates; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Information Technology and electric apprenticeship advisors will be on hand to meet with job seekers.

“Hiring is a key need to business and personal success,” said Kim White, Executive Director of the Career & Networking Center. “We look forward to connecting job seekers and employers at this event to fill open positions and get individuals back to work!”

“This is a perfect opportunity for job seekers to find a great job,” added Christine Jeffries, President, Naperville Development Partnership and Visit & Dine Naperville. “Employers are ready to hire for all kinds of positions and for many time slots, some offering full, part and seasonal employment. Job seekers can see what’s available, all in one place!”

The hiring businesses represent several industries including hospitality, restaurants, education, healthcare, administrative, manufacturing/distribution and more. 

Part-time, full-time and seasonal positions are available and wages, hours, benefits and signing bonuses (if available) will be provided for each open position.

Registration for job seekers is not required and there is no cost to participate.
