Oktoberfest returns to Naper Settlement Oct. 1-2

Grab your lederhosen for Oktoberfest at Naper Settlement on October 1-2, 2021.

Naper Settlement’s Oktoberfest returns on Friday and Saturday, October 1-2. The festival features German cuisine, local and traditional Oktoberfest beer varieties, contests, and a blend of polka and rock music throughout the weekend.

During the day on Saturday, an expanded children’s area will be filled with activities for the whole family.    

Belgio’s Catering and Decadent Flavor will dish out delicious cuisine. 

Schamberger Brothers will provide a variety of beer selections, such as Spaten Oktoberfest, Schöfferhofer Grapefruit, and Bell’s Brewery Octoberfest. Wine offerings will be available from Sable Creek Winery, including Sable Creek Merlot, Sable Creek Sweet Purple Lady, and others.

5PM to 10PM Friday, October 1 

Professional pumpkin carving by Titus Arensberg | 5-10PM 

Music from Ed Wagner’s Lustige Blaskapelle | 5:30-7:30PM

Music from Polkaholics | 8-10PM  

Noon to 10PM Saturday, October 2

Professional pumpkin carving by Titus Arensberg | 12-7PM 

Music from The Happy Wanderers | 12:30-2:30PM 

Games and activities (PRO Martial Arts, Pinot’s Palette, Wicked Ball Chicago, chalk art, corn hole, giant Connect Four, giant Jenga, lawn pong, lawn golf) | 1-4PM  

Stein holding competition | 2:30-3PM 

Music from Alpine Thunder | 3-5PM 

Music from Freeze Dried | 5:30-7:30PM 

Music from Brass from the Past | 8-10PM 

Tickets are $15 adults and $10 youth ages 4-12. Naper Settlement members receive a member ticket discount, and children under 4 are free.
