Above / Council Chambers will welcome the public to attend/speak in person, too. Folks who wish to speak must use online speaker sign-up in advance by 4PM on the day of the meeting.
Starting on Tues., June 1, the Naperville City Council will hold all its meetings and workshops in-person. All City Council members and City staff will be physically present in Council Chambers, and Zoom will no longer be utilized for Council, staff or citizen participation.
Citizens wishing to speak before the City Council must do so in-person in Council Chambers as of June 1. The City will continue to use the online speaker sign-up form at www.naperville.il.us/speakersignup. There will be no on-site speaker sign up. Online speaker sign-up opens once an agenda is published, typically the Wednesday prior to the meeting date, and closes at 4PM on the day of a City Council meeting.
Citizens may still submit a written comment or position of support or opposition through the City’s online sign-up form from the time when the agenda is published until 4PM the day of the meeting. Written comments and position statements will not be read into the public record during the meeting but instead be posted with the meeting agenda.
