“M” is for May and Mother’s Day annually celebrated the second Sunday of the month. But really, shouldn’t every day celebrate the mothers of the world? At Century Walk’s “Symbiotic Sojourn” sculpture situated in the courtyard at the Main Street Promenade that’s exactly what our public art does. Mother Earth’s symbiotic relationship with the young boy and girl is poignantly portrayed as humankind recycles and conserves to save her and remember Barb Sielaff who spearheaded Naperville’s initial recycling going back to 1973.
